The lead article in the Spring 1998 Economic Perspectives is a lecture by
Stiglitz on the private uses of public interests. His experiences with the
CEA and analysis of the difficulties in policy analysis and formation will
probably be of interest to many institutionalists. For those interested in
additional "reflective' articles, the AER's papers and proceedings, 1997,
had a nice panel on the CEA. I especially enjoyed Solow's piece.
