I have a similar problem on my Mitsubishi Diamond Pro monitor. I've had this
for 3 years and most of the time it comes on and works great. I turn it on
first and have the green light glowing, then the computer. Once in a while -
like a couple times a month - instead of the desktop coming on the screen I
get a red box saying that the signal frequency is off (or incorrectly set,
or something like that). I turn off the computer and restart, and everything
is okay again.
