thanks, Britt!  I actually have the 8.5 software, just never installed it as
I heard so many folks had trouble with it.

I'll install and go for the free upgrade.

Maybe I should reinstall the monitor software?  It's unnerving to not have
the monitor come up...I don't use screen savers.  Is there a better way to
shut down the monitor other than using the button?
