Hi, Graham - thanks for weighing in.  I have upgraded everythign to OS 8.6
and all is well (so far) except for a slight glitch in running PowerRip  to
my Epson. It's not happy with a few of my fonts.

I haven't even tried the energy saver/sleep thing since installing the new
system, as I didn't want anything else to go wrong.  When I get a few
moments, I'll try it again.  I'm using Virex , not Norton, but I'llkeep your
idea in mind.
