I've also used copper - really any metal can be used, but some change color
differently and to a greater or less degree than others.  Platinum and gold
change color less than silver and copper.  I love metalpoint, but it's even
more time consuming than colored pencil and graphite, which is saying
something.  On the other hand, I really love the detail and delicacy and for
me there's something akin to meditation in the execution.  I believe the
business management equation would look like:

Meditation Value is inversely proportional to the Economic Value of the
Medium. It does seem like the more I enjoy it, the less I get paid per hour.
Hmmmmmmm.

We are in Mud Season up here and the snowshoe hares and ermines are finally
starting to change color.  Haven't seen any moose of any color yet.
