Wow! You guys are great. It's so nice to get this kind of help. Britt,
your printer comments collection is wonderful and your time putting it
together truly kind. Your assistance, Catherine and Wendy, also great.
Sometimes I do feel like a pretender here, however, as I am currently
producing almost nothing artistic and ask questions which are not backed by
professional budget. Anyhow I do have high hopes of using my art skills in
science and know that computer art is where it's going. Most of what I've
done before has been pen and ink.

Britt you asked whether I need color or black & white. I see color as
expansion and development territory but truthfully I need to be able to
print copy most of all, and since I am now producing 60-page lists which I
edit and repeat, time is a concern. That's why I'm thinking that a laser
printer would do a great job on copy and black & white ink type sketches,
but I have no concept yet of what it will mean when I start printing
drawings from the computer. Some people tell me inkjets produce better
drawings, but I almost can't believe it for black & white. So what do you
experienced types think? Thanks, Miriam
