I'm back on the list serv after almost a year in South America. Sitting
here back at work illustrating fish and so excited to see familiar names
on the email and excited to use my new proportional dividers.

But... the screw knob won't keep its spot after I tighten it. Am I using
them wrong? I gave my Handbook to a fellow illustrator in La Paz on my
way home and so I can't reference it. I know it has info on prop
dividers in it. It just keeps moving around. Shouldn't the black knob
stay on the increment chosen on the one leg and the other slide back and
forth? They are both sliding. HMmmmm.... any suggestions? Good to be
back, Catie
