Howdy all,
I'm working on some ancillary educational materials to go with my kids' book, Grouper Moon. I'm planning to put these on CD/DVDs. Some of the materials will be printable and reproducible for classroom use, but there will be some reference images that I would like to keep a bit more proprietary. Knowing teachers, I know that materials are passed around among the teaching community to be copied and used by many.
Is there a way to build in an activation code/key on a disk with the proprietary images in order to discourage copying the CD, such as what one needs to do when activating software?
I suppose there will always ways around such devices, especially for image files... but was just wondering if there was anything out there other that can be used, other than a strong copyright notice.
Thanks,
Cindy
