    I have been to Appledore a couple times.....   the clues were all 
in your post to the list...  a Month?  I am jealous.....  Although I 
have never been there early enough in the summer for the gulls to be 
too agressive.

    I would gladly use my vacation time to go back there as a TA or 
some such...   I understand that the Ichthyology diversity course ran 
this year....   it was cancelled last year, and I was heart broken.
