Rarely do I feel I have much to contribute, and usually it's too little,
too late. But since I work on a Mac and use Thunderbird, I thought I'd
try it.

I made a new list, "TestList". Then I clicked on one of my old lists,
clicked on the first name, then shift-click on the last name. All were
highlighted.
Then dragged those to the "TestList".
Then I repeated the process with a second list that already existed. The
second batch of names were added to the first batch.

Is this what you're trying to do? I hope it's helpful.

At one point, I also figured out how to put a list of names and
addresses, etc., into a spreadsheet from the address book, and then make
mailing labels from the spreadsheet. It would take me a few minutes to
figure it out again, but if that's what you're trying to do, it is possible.

(p.s. I'm probably going to drop out of sight again, as I'm focusing on
my husband's health crisis. I don't often have time to read, let alone
answer, e-mails. I'm trying to find the e-mail sent multiple times, much
earlier, with instructions for how to get the list-serve e-mails as one
packaged e-mail.)
