I put "TAN" in the subject line since my proposal is not science  
illustration. It is art, though. I asked about Kickstarter a few days  
ago, so I'm following up on that. My project is launched and you're  
all welcome to look if you'd like to do so.

In the interests of not worrying anyone unnecessarily, I'll just say  
that it was caught early, I've recovered well, and I could live  
another 50 years. You'll know what I mean if you look at the web  
pages. Once the time frame on Kickstarter has ended I'll be happy to  
report on my experience with it. Perhaps some of the rest of you would  
like to try to fund your own project this way.
