Just want to suggest that if Stephen gets the opportunity to go on this
trip, you each have the opportunity to learn from Stephen's expanded
knowledge on this ancient art, too, at this year's conference in Olympia,
through his Chokusetsu-ho Gyotaku printing workshop.  If you haven't already
pledged towards his goal, I hope you will consider doing so --what a great
opportunity for all to benefit from this opportunity.

Stephen, have you even printed an octopus?  Any chance to obtain an octopus
for the conference this summer?  A couple years ago I saw an incredible octo
print that really made me take notice--that's got to take skill to handle
all the tentacles and suckers!  I'd love to see that at the workshop ;o)
