I would not worry about it.
It will mean improved resolution on text and other graphic elements of the screen, and if you do have a high resolution image, every pixel will be visible if you have a jewelers loupe. If an image looks OK on your screen now, it will still look OK on a retina display, in a side by side comparison, the Retina will look better, but not that much better.

I'm looking at the adverts for the new Apple 13-inch retina display. Any opinions on how our work will now look on these super duper quality displays, will we need to put high res images on our websites?
