To all the people of Calontir, and all others who would read this, greetings.

Aged and venerable has grown our Royal Pavillion, throwing itself for years between
our fairly complected count'nances and the withering blast of Helios' gaze.
Untold the seas of water sent earthward has it shed to king dry King and commoner,
Stately Queen and the artifacts of Royal Power. Strong gales, Aeolus' furied
exhalings, did try to make of it a shambles, but still it stands.

But as is the way of time and seasons, comes now a season to build another in the
line; and for this, we seek your succor.

So oft, on the penultimate night of our perfected war, have we turned our gaze skyward,
entranced at the coruscations and scintilations of light thrown into Heaven's
own realm, only to fall, as do all things, back to earth. There do we gather as
one and share our common joy.

But suns and stars stored up in bottles for our viewing are dear things and more
dearly grow through the passage of time. That we might not be o'rtaxed at Midsummer,
we seek your aid at Midwinter.

At same War, we seek always improvement and finest of equippage. That dreams of
a vision larger than a single turning of seasons be brought before the eyes of The
Crown and Her Subjects, we seek also your alms.

We hereby announce a Calontir Fundraising auction, to benefit the Royal Pavillion
fund, and establish a fund for the ongoing support of Lilies Fireworks, and capital
projects for the War.

As was announced at Crown Tournament, we seek contributions of goods and services
for an online auction. Mistress Rhianwen and I, Master Andrixos, shall be the public
promoters of the project, while Master Pavel will handle the technical end. Many
thanks to His Lordship Halvgrimr for hosting the site and providing us with the
software and expertice in this endeavor.

The auction will begin, following the tradition of modern retailers, at 6 am on
the day after Thanksgiving, November 23. The auction will stretch until January
3rd. We hope to have items available for preview on a parallel site before the
start of the auction.

We will happily accept new items after the opening of the auction.
