At this point, it really doesn't matter which address gets used - both the windstream.net and alltel.net addresses will get through. You're right, it's probably best not to worry about it now, but to change to windstream.net in the next publication.

Alltel and Windstream are not the same company anymore - the boards of directors are completely different, and the management teams are completely separate from the CEO on down. The only common ownership is at the stockholder level; everyone that had Alltel stock ended up with Windstream stock as well - kind of a stock split to go along with the company split. I'm sure that's more than anyone really wanted to know, so that's enough of that.

Thanks! Her excellency approached me at the revel and asked that I change
her address to the windstream address. Would it be better to leave them "as
is" unless there is a problem and change them before I print the next
directory...(sometime in September) or change them now? We don't use alltel
for our ISP so I need some direction on this one from someone in the
know.... Volkmar maybe :)

I wasn't aware that Windstream did not exist before July 17th...I did
remeber hearing that Alltel was going to go strictly wireless on the news
some months ago. So they are still owned by the same people and are just
making LOTS more work for Volmar and all the other IT guys. Isadora, I feel
your pain....
