It must have been at least 10 years ago - but the East Kingdom
had a home-made lure coursing setup at one event, which was
ostensibly based upon period technology and materials.

I don't think coursing is as active in the East now as it once
was, but one might reach out there (and also to other
Kingdoms - Trimaris and Meridies pop to mind) and see what
the state of their research might be.

It was kinda neat to watch a gorgeous standard Poodle chase
that lure.  Not as elegant as a greyhound, but beautifully
enthusiastic.
