Chris,
For those of us who have trouble receiving attachments to listserv messages, either because of the program used to read messages or by virtue of the manner in which we have selected to receive messages (digest, etc.), is the nomination form located elsewhere where it can be accessed, such as on the ECN website? And if not, why not?

ok, so chalk one up to 'crying wolf': there are no anarchists seeking =
to destroy our holotypes (although this would surely cause nations to =
crumble and panic in the streets)....=20
BUT, this message did likely make it past your spam filter AND get =

so now that you're reading, you may wonder why we resorted to such =
trickery to your attention (other than our fondness for trickery)?
The ECN needs your help to come up with a group of new =
officers/organizers for the 2012 meeting -- (wait, before you hit the =
'trash' button!).... if you've enjoyed past ECN meetings, please take =
5-10 minutes to help us with this task -- we've done a lot in recent =
years with ECN meetings, but we still haven't found a effective way of =
'passing the baton' to new officers in between years.
We'd like to be able to ANNOUNCE a new 2012 team at this year's meeting =
in Reno -- which means we need to have nominations and some form of =
election/consensus established prior to the meeting.
Here's where we need your help:
Please take a moment to think of some people to nominate. =20
We're asking for your thoughtful considerations...perhaps you know of =
new graduate students or museum staff members who aren't on the ECN-L =
network -- or perhaps you know of an enthusiastic collector who visits =
your collection regularly.... it's easy to see these organizing =
positions as giant 'taxes'... and they do take time, but it IS =
rewarding...
Please use this NOMINATION FORM to submit your nominations (please DO =
NOT respond to this email with nominations on the public ECN-L list) =
---the webform we've created is confidential, only the current officers =
will see nominations until we have a chance to contact the individuals =
and ask them if they are willing to serve. If we get a lot of =
nominations, the ECN officers will come up with some mechanism to get =
ECN membership input (read: some type of ballot/consensus).
The form has spaces for THREE nominations, but feel free to submit the =
form more than once if you have more than three people to nominate -- =
