Good Calontiri, I beg your indulgence as I post this request.  Within the SCA I am known as Gotfrid von Schwaben and I am also currently a graduate student at Central Michigan University (attending remotely).  As my final project, I am conducting a feasibility study examining the opening of a pottery merchant company within the SCA.  This project will fulfill my requirements for the Master of Science in Administration degree.  Specific areas of interest in this research are identifying minimal durable equipment required to begin production; identifying applicable laws and regulations which govern production, marketing, and sales; determining market demand; defining optimal product form and function, local pricing, operating expenses; and identifying the best available marketing venues.

I come to ask for your participation because you are good Gentles who attend various events hosted within the Society.  I invite you all to participate in this research study by completing a survey at the following link <http://goo.gl/forms/8i4nHM6cPS> to access the web-based survey.  I have asked Lady Allison, as the Kingdom Webmistress, if I could post this request to the Calonlist and the Calontir Facebook page, and she, after consultation, has graciously consented.  Should you opt to assist with the survey, it will require approximately five to ten minutes to complete.  The link to the survey will remain active for approximately 30-days, with a projected date of 11 April 2015 for closing the survey site.  There is no compensation for responding nor is there any known risk.  In order to ensure that all information will remain confidential, please do not include your name.  Copies of the project will be provided to my Central Michigan University instructor.

The data collected will provide useful information regarding marketing opportunities within various major events hosted by several SCA Kingdoms.
