Like it or not, 'border's will go the way of ethnicity and religion -only a
matter of time. The point remains, and I have how often tried to make?
-that the sooner we approach those 'eliminations', the sooner we come into
an 'economic integrity' of the whole. Some 'relatively simple rationales':
1 - When relatively 'integral' ethnic groups want independence (as in
Kosovo -the ethnic Albanians, and Turkey/Iran/Iraq -the Kurds) -foolish,
impractical or not- GIVE it to them and let them discover (the hard way)
the virtues of 'going it alone' and 'reinventing the wheel'.
2 - When relatively _non-integral_ ethnic groups want independence on the
other hand (Bosnia, Ethiopia/Eritrea, Africa in general et cetera),
suppress ALL fighting, and see to the _civilizing_ education of those
peoples with (respectively) whatever police action and instructorship
necessary -'external' sources or not.
Again, like it or not, we are one world of -inevitably, one people, and,
like it or not, we are destined to be our brother's keeper.
