dear bill:
i am indeed alarmed as you are. we talked about it at the afit-luncheon and
exchanged mails on a "private" basis. now let's go public and start saying
that this war of the nato against yugoslawia is a lie and a crime. we know
indeed better about the real background of this conquest. critical
economists need to say no to this new world "order" and to start talking
about the new imperialism and about the degrading of international law.
nothing justifies a war of the most powerful economic interests against
small countries. even more, it would be worth it to start defending the
rest of communal structures in yugoslawia, being not subject to the world
bank dictates yet.

p.s.: did you know that hitler did n o t start world war II? world war II
was opened by him with the words: "we have to fight back for humanitarian
reasons", that was to stop "ethnic cleansing" of the polish against the
germans living in poland. this indeed was virtual reality in germany at
that time ... does this story sound familiar to you?
