Dear Sci-Art folks,

In response to a query this past month from a list member, I posted a
note to let people know my husband Dan has compiled a list of poison
oak eaters, mostly birds, but a few mammals among the list.

Recently, the Oregon Birders Online list (OBOL) has had the same topic
appear! So, in follow-up, I'd love to know specifically if people here
have personally observed birds eat poison oak, berries usually, and if
you have observed such behavior, to let me know where you saw this
(state, province, country, etc.) and when, even approximately, if you
can remember!

I'm adding to the compiled list Dan began and trying to add
documentation as to place and time, too, so that perhaps an eventual
article can be written to help add to this plant's stature in the eyes
of ones who might otherwise disparage it!

A number of folks from this list did respond and ask for the list and
I've saved your requests and will re-send the list later once I've
added this list and other's responses!

Happy New Year all, too, and my wishes join others for a world with
less strife, disasters and crises...

Barbara Gleason
