My name is Joshua Hogan and I'm an undergraduate at the University of Central Florida working in the lab of Dr. Barbara Sharanowski. I'm currently working on a range expansion paper on the uncommonly collected parasitoid wasp Vanhornia eucnemidarum, the only North American member of the family Vanhorniidae (Hymenoptera: Proctotrupoidea). It seems that their range extends further than any previous records have shown, as we recently found specimens in Manitoba.

If anyone has specimens of Vanhornia eucnemidarum (or any unidentified Vanhornia) in their collection, and would be willing to share their locality information and collection dates with me, it would be a great help in updating the range of this wasp.

Feel free to contact me anytime at [log in to unmask]

Thank you,
-Josh H
