FYI
The Field Museum houses the beautiful sculptural bronze works of Malvina
Hoffman. She was a wonderful American sculptor who, comissioned by the
Field Museum, traveled the globe studying the cultures and sculpting the
peoples of the world for display in the museum's Hall of Man. Although
the hall is no longer intact many of her sculptures can be seen
throughout the museum, particularly on the mezzanine level overlooking
the main entry hall, if I remember correctly. Her travels and most of
her amazing life is documented in her book "Heads and Tales." A great
read! Her work truly shows sculpture as an art for the Natural
Sciences!
Good luck on all your latest endeavors!
