I've been offlist for 3 weeks while we were out of town for the
holidays, so if this tidbit has already been shared, my apologies.
In the stack of held mail awaiting us on our return, was the
January/February issue of Horn Book, one of the top journals of
children's literature. To even have a book reviewed in Horn Book is
fantastic; to garner a starred review is awesome.
And our own Hannah Bonner has just landed a starred review in this Horn
Book for her newest book "When Fish Got Feet, Sharks Got Teeth, and
Bugs Began to Swarm: A Cartoon Prehistory of Life Long before
Dinosaurs". To read the review, go to this link, and scroll down the
page until you get to it; it's the 6th one down:

I can hardly wait to get a copy of this book; I saw the art (during the
Madison meeting) as she was working on it, and it was wonderful. Big
congratulations to Hannah!!
