I have used Portfolio, others have used whatever the current Adobe Bridge is called. I never really used Adobe Bridge, so i can't really offer a comparison. Portfolio works OK.

Subject: [SCIART] Art Metadata Database

Hi all,

Someone I know is looking for a program to sort their artwork and other digital assets into a searchable database that uses metadata (keywords, categories etc.). They need to make a purchase in the next two days, and I was wondering if anyone has any information on this kind of software, what programs seem to work best, etc. If it makes any difference, they are on a PC platform.
