Visual Communicators,  The GNSI Southern Group would like to invite any artists
to join us May 3rd in an attempt to bring more illustrators of our region toget
her to share experiences and education.  The "Southern Seminar" will be held at
 the Lamar Dodd School of Art on the Univesity of Georgia campus and is sponsor
ed by the Scientific Illustration Program.  More information is provided in the
 March newsletter if you are interested.  A quick summary:  Three medical illus
trators, Carolyn Holmes, Jeanette Rashce, and Ellen Palm will discuss topics of
 Computer annimation with Authorware, Teamwork while creating multimedia presen
tations, and business ethics and copywrite guidelines.  Mozelle Funderburke wil
l give a lengthy discussion on exhibit design and preliminary plans and prepara
tion.  She will also give a demonstration on casting techniques.  We will have
a long lunch in between morning and afternoon sessions which will allow us the
opportunity to discuss the potential of establishing a regional chapter with th
