Just a little note that if any of you send me messages to
          which you want a response - and you don't hear from me -
          would you please re-send?  Apparently several people have
          sent e-mail to me which never appeared in my mailbox.
          Someone told me it has something to do with the Intranet
          here at the Academy of Sciences clogging the system, but I
          don't really know the technical ins and outs of all that.
          Messages get part way so that they aren't returned to the
          sender, but don't come on in to the individual mailboxes.
          What I DO know is that I'm never sure anymore if I'm
          receiving all the mail that I should be getting.
