Hi, All -
I recently purchased the Eraser Stones from Levenger's catalog, as
recommended by another 'serve member (sorry, can't remember who -
whom?); they're great erasers, and they come in GORGEOUS packaging, if
you want to give some as gifts.
They're pricey, though, at $12.95 a pair. Jerry's Artarama catalog
offered a "Magic Artist's Egg" eraser, looked similar, for $2.89 each.
I ordered one, and it appears to be identical to Levenger's -- just
doesn't have the lovely package and the cool green tree logo. They're
even cheaper by the dozen, $2.60 each.
Jerry's phone number is 800-U-artist (800-827-8478, for those of you
like me, who have trouble figuring that out!); fax 919-873-9565. they
have a website, but I wasn't able to find erasers (?) :
www.jerryscatalog.com
They require a minimum order of $20 mail or $50 phone, but the prices
and selections are pretty good, and you can most likely find lots of
other goodies to buy. (Hey, it's only money!)
