Hi Jaynie, Elaine, and all-
I have a piece of tape on my computer, right under the screen, with the
word BLINK on it in enormous letters. I get to staring at the screen so
much I forget this little movement, and after a while (a SHORT while),
my eyes feel like two prunes.
I know a few of you have the Epson 800 printer. I've had mine for a
while and really like it, but I'm wondering if I need the Postscript
add-on or not. I've read yes and no; the "no" article said that most
programs handle this internally (?) and it usually wasn't needed. What
I can't figure out is that some art prints quite bitmap-y, but not all.
This is art that I have created, then scanned into photoshop, changed to
CMYK (headed for the commercial printers), and dropped into Illustrator
documents, with text added. For some, the art and text print
beautifully, for others the text is beautiful but the art is bitmapped.
any clues?

thanks,
Gail
