Does anyone know where chronflex can be purchased ? Or what can be used as
a substitution? I have artists asking for it all the time and have no clue
what to tell them.

I have used a drafting film called Herculine, made by K&E. It seems
to work well for both carbon dust and color pencil. A pack of 100
11 x 17 sheets cost about $68.00 last time I ordered it from a local art
store. It also comes in large roles.
