I agree with this.  Notwithstanding the current marketing difficulties that
Apple is enduring, I think the Mac platform will remain the most intuitive
and artist- friendly environment for some years to come.  (I do realize
that at the "application level", such programs as Photoshop 4.0, which are
written to appear and behave similarly at the user interface, it is the
underpinnings of the operating system which are still more straightforward
in a Mac than on a PC).  Mike Rothman
