That is a huge question. I know because I am starting to get involved in
it. I just formed an LLC partnership with an artist friend to develop
new products and license them. We can talk about specific issues if you
want; if I have gotten to them yet, I'll tell you my opinion. You might
strat with GUIDE TO LICENSING ARTWORK, by Marilyn Moore, Kent
Publications. Also THE ARTIST'S BUSINESS AND LEGAL GUIDE, by Gregory
Victoroff, Prentice Hall.
