The book Snow Crystals is a collection of the life's work of W.A. Bently in
photographing thousands of snow flakes. The best of the photomicrographs were
assembled by the American Meteorological Society and published in 1931, with
text by W.J. Humphreys.
The book is reproduced by Dover. isbn 0-486-20287-9
The book has 2453 photos of crystals in it, that should get you started, and
they are copyright free.
Good luck
