Does anybody out there work regularly with exhibit graphics? I got a
call from an exhibit design firm who wants to buy rights to use a
rainforest painting I showed in the last GNSI/AMI directory.
(BTW shows that people keep these directories around for a few years)
It is for an exhibit Drug company who is promoting products from
rainforests, to be used as a background over the full exhibit panel. I
looked in the GAG Pricing & Ethical Guidelines book and they gave a
broad range of from 20% to 100% of the price of an original commission
fro reuse fee. Anybody had experience selling to the exhibit graphics
market?
(BTW again: there are no pricing guidelines published in the GAG book,
although they have a page on biological illustration. Isn't this
something the Guild could be involved in?)
Thanks
Paul
