     Hi Laura,

Well, I'm tempted to say that anthropologists do really strange things
at different tides or phases of the sun/moon. But I don't think that
     is what you are after...
You might try the library for books on mythology which would contain
information about the significance attached to sun, moon and tides,
and hopefully would talk about the kinds of activities which accompany
     these natural events.
     Good luck!

"You know, if I were a single man, I might ask that mummy out. That's
     a good-looking mummy!"
     Bill Clinton

and because he is so much in the news these days:

     "Thanks for the poncho."
     President Clinton
...said this when he was presented with the Romanian tri-color flag
(red, yellow and blue) during his visit in July 97. The flag did have
a head-sized hole in the middle... But flags with the centers ripped
out are the norm in Romania these days. With holes where the hated
communist emblem used to be, such flags symbolize the 1989
anti-Communist revolt that led to the establishment of democracy.

Hello,

I'm looking for some information and I thought what better place to ask. I
need to find botanical, zoological, and anthropological events that occur
only at very specific times/places.

For example:

Only during a particular moon phase and where
Only during a solar or lunar eclipse and where
Only during high/low tide and where

Any and all help I thank you for in advance!
