Dear Sci-arters:

Thanks for clearing up the flatbed scanner as a slide scanner issue.  If I
had the funds to buy one that can do it all, I would spend just a little
more and get separate flat bed and slide scanners.  This was really useful
to me, I prefer to wait and avoid regrets.

A few months ago there was a fair exchange on labeling e-mails accurately
so I'll ask another question in a separate note.
