Nice job, Liz! As a "new" Guild member, I've only been to the last two
meetings, and have found them both to be a real shot in the arm
psychologically and professionally. August's meeting promises to be a
blast, aside from a great program.

One of the things we're doing to promote social mixing is to have all
the core sessions and most of the workshops in the same building - even
have catered lunch brought in (to be included in the core fee).

The recent lineup, BTW, is a basic skeleton - not everything was
mentioned due to not having the details worked out - but there is more
to come soon! There should have been an article in October's newsletter,
but Leigh decided to hold it for November's issue, soon to be out, I
think. We're submitting more specific details for January's newsletter -
but will also be sure to send them to the list, too, for more advance
notice (actually, next week)

I forgot to mention in the recent lineup (and thanks, BTW, to everyone
who responded with the encouraging feedback) that we have some nice
evening events planned, too - including the banquet, to be held at the
Columbia Crest Winery - good wine, and a very lovely setting! (Remember,
we're right in the middle of WA wine country)

But if you're planning to go to Richmond, you may have trouble getting
to the meeting; it's in RichLAND! ;)

Cindy
