Hi, all -
I just got a new computer (G3/300mgHz - YAY! Speed at last!);
everything is going pretty well, except: since I started using the
Wacom Intuos tablet (also new - October was a fun month), I can't get my
Epson to work. i have a stylus color 800, hooked up to a switch box with
my laser printer (this was the arrangement with my old setup, and it
worked fine). It also worked BEFORE i set up the Wacom. I went into the
Epson extensions set and disabled right and left to reduce possible
conflicts, but still no go. When I tried to print from Quark, everything
went ok until I hit "print"; then Quark crashed - every time.
i suspect an extension conflict, as everything seems to be WORKING,
just not COMMUNICATING. I've faxed Wacom (Epson said they couldn't
help, as it was a software problem -?), but I thought maybe someone had
a brilliant [and easy ;-) ] solution.
thanks ahead of time!
Gail
BTW: whoever had the quote about the sound of a flute and the squirrel,
I went to a concert Saturday night, and every time the flutes played, I
cracked up remembering it- thanks for the laughs!
