Hi, Karen-
i'm glad this worked for you. I always have my printers on (my laser
doesn't have an on/off switch), and I still have problems, which I think
are related to the AppleTalk discussion.
The LocalTalk extension information was useful, as I was having trouble
with the laser...I had to use the Chooser constantly to select the
laser, even during work sessions, sometimes restarting. this without
even trying to use the Epson. Somehow, the laser is no longer the
default printer as it was (seems to have been???) on my old computer.
Did i miss a step in setting evert=ything up?
Anyway, i turned off LocalTalk extension, and it seems to be fine, but
the performance is noticeable poorer (not awful, just not as good).
Always something!
Gail
