Ahem, so right, Karen.  As a museum studies student (emphasis on the
student),
I'm finding out how many things can damage paper - scotch tape, humidity,
sunlight (or extended bright light), yada yada.  And as for not knowing,
we are
cleaning up (or at least trying to clean up) damage done by past museum
people
that didn't know either...!
