Hi, All -
Just my two cents on Extensis: I have several of their plug-in programs
(I'm getting to be the Extensis posterchild). I've found nearly all of
them to be very useful and intuitive. I just got Photographix, but
haven't installed it yet (I hope it does more than the text editing
tools in Photoshop 5, which I have just discovered and used successfully
in a print project.
I recently got several new Extensis products and upgraded several old
ones in a package deal - got a great discount by ordering the bunch all
at once. One of their sales reps sent me an info package last summer; I
missed the original deadline, but the rep still gave me a great price. I
don't know if this is because I'm clearly a good customer, or just
because I called and wanted to buy a bundle of products. It might be
worth checking out.
(BTW: I have Phototools, Photographix, Photoframe, Mask Pro,
Intellihance, Portfolio, and Vectortools - the last one I hardly used
and therefore didn't upgrade. Mask Pro IS a useful product if you have
to edit an image with hair or fur, or anything complex. Intellihance is
super if you scan a lot - you can enhance scanned images with a click or
go into it manually if you want.)
