For what it's worth.

Did some checking, and -

The Medical Illustrator position announcement at Wright-Patterson AFB
is incorrect.  They are listing it at a GS-9 - the minimum annual
salary for GS-9 is $31,195 (plus benefits).

Granted, that's not much better, but it does make a difference.
