The American Handel Society’s Biennial American Handel Festival

The American Handel Society invites submission of abstracts for papers on
any topic connected with Handel’s life and music. We are pleased to
announce that the Howard Serwer Memorial Lecture will be delivered by John
Butt, who will also conduct the Princeton University Chamber Choir’s
performance of the 1741 version of *Messiah.* Abstracts of no more than 500
words may be sent as an email attachment (Word doc or pdf) by *October 1,
2016* to the Program Chair, Robert Ketterer, robert-ketterer -at- uiowa.edu.
