The Society for Eighteenth-Century Music will hold its eighth biennial
conference Thursday March 19 through Sunday March 22, 2020, in Stockholm,
Sweden, in collaboration with the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. SECM
members and colleagues around the world are invited to submit proposals on
all aspects of eighteenth-century music. Proposals addressing musical
interconnections between the Americas and Europe in the eighteenth century
are particularly welcome. Presentations will be given in English. The
deadline for submission of proposals and supporting material is 11:59 pm
(Central time), September 1, 2019. See SECM.org for the call for papers and
other information.

Students are invited to submit proposals for a dissertations-in-progress
session. Please see SECM.org for information.

Students may apply for the Society’s Sterling E. Murray Award for student
travel.
