A bit late for this event, but perhaps these might be of use for events later this winter.  I assume that this won’t be the last of the cold weather.

Wool knit caps or fur caps can also be useful for keeping warm. You lose a large portion of your body heat through your head. I do have some files on headgear, but has anyone written a good article on making warm hats for cold weather?
