1. National Electrical Safety Month
May is National Electrical Safety Month.  It is a good time to look around
your work area and eliminate overloaded outlets, worn or damaged electrical
cords, and appliances that spark.  For more information on National
Electrical Safety Month, visit the National Electrical Safety Foundation
(NESF) at http://www.nesf.org.

2. New SOPs
EHS has developed new Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs), which can be found
on the EHS Web Site at http://ehs.unl.edu/SOP/index.cfm

3. Supervisor Training
Environmental Health and Safety has scheduled a session of Supervisor
Training for Thursday, June 26 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.  The training will be
held in the EHS Training room at 3630 East Campus Loop.  To register,
