PageMill can be very problematic... I've had difficulty with pictures
imaging correctly. Also, PageMill seems to add quite a bit of unnecessary
code. I don't know if version 3 corrects these things.
I'm told Claris HomePage is better, though I have not worked with it.
Dreamweaver is incredible... it writes clean code and runs very smoothly.
However, the manual is awful. And it is not a very intuitive program, aside
from being more expensive. I bought 3rd party manual to help me over the
humps.
You might consider FrontPage -- it is very good on site maintenance issues.
But also adds unnecessary code. The PC version is far more versatile than
the Mac version.
But whatever I use, I end up doing some work in raw code.
