Hi Cindy - that drove me crazy too. I pretty much solved it (I have a PC) by going the mouse options on the control panel and selecting everything I could find to make the cursor easier to find. I added the long drag, the "bull's eye" that presents itself when you hit the control key, colored the arrow, etc. The feature that helps me most frequently is the control key/bull's eye feature.
Mary

Subject: [SCIART] Cursing the cursor

Howdy all, I just have a silly little Photoshop question.

When I use the line tool, the cursor disappears altogether, and it is starting to drive me batty. Fiddling with the cursor preferences has no effect. No problem with the rest of the tools.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Cindy
