Just received a spring schedule from UMFK, listing their spring line
up of community presentations. One, on Local Food Networks: Food
Localization as a Sustainability Strategy, is being offered as a
teleconference program with University of Wisconsin Extension
interactive Web program. I will attend and send along my opinions.
This is something (with different topics, of course) that I suggested
GNSI do in the future. It can open conference programs to many more
people than are physically able to attend conferences. Not a
replacement, an adjunct. (I suggested it for this year but guessed
that there is no time, interest, or budget to plan it with another
