Try (Malcolm E.) "MIller's Anatomy of the Dog".  The third edition is out as
of 1993, the author/editor is Howard E. Evans and publisher is W.B.
Saunders.  [ ISBN 0-7126-3209-9; LC SF767.D6M54 ].  This may be among the
references that other people have already supplied you, but if it isn't,
definitely check it out.  As it is a standard reference, generalizable (new
word?) for many mammals, it shouldn't be too hard to find.  In any case, it
should fulfill all your doggy needs.
